Vintage AS advice?

I have located an Airstream and am planning on contacting the owner to see if they would like to sell it. She has been sitting covered in a barn for many, many years. My question is in what year did Airstream move away from the 13 panel front caps into the 6 panel? Also what models would have had the 13 panel front cap? I am thinking late 50s. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I have a great feeling about this ol' girl.

1957 was the last year for the 13 panel endcaps.
