a few with recurring specific company reports like these...
with a new unit replacement value
in the policy is very important...
more good stuff starting around post 25 here...
don't be confused by the term 'full coverage' which many underwriters will misleadingly use...
in practice this means physical damage coverage and state required parameters...
some use it to imply all the parameters (liability, comp/collision, medical, contents...) are included,
but there is no 'official definition' of full coverage.
the actual $$ value for a total'd unit is often 'book' unless otherwise stated in the policy.
and this will be 1000s less than purchase price
, immediately after purchase.
riders aren't offered by all the underwriters and may add a tiny bit to the total policy price...
but should a newer unit be total'd, full replacement value coverage will soften the financial hit.
and read the actual policy and riders
, don't assume the general info from an agent is gospel.
