Transport/Towing Services Needed

We're considering buying a trailer out of state. Certainly we can drive a couple of days to view, decide and haul back, but the other option is to fly out, view, decide and arrange someone to tow it to destination for us. Time or money?

Any tips of who/how to contact someone who would do an interstate tow (1-2 days each way) for a reasonable fee?

I just posted for quote on UShip - no response yet.

From Montana to SF Bay area.

Considering the complexity of just trying to make a deal, figure out arrangements, payment, securing title and possession, not getting ripped off, awaiting transport schedule, etc. this may either flake or I take a 3-4 day road trip with my trusty sidekick pup and call it an adventure,

We'll see...

Expect to see $1/per mile out of Uship. Trailers limit them to what's on the hitch not to mention they need a load out of SF. An open trailer can cary more/different loads and help the overall costs.
