Retired, looking for an AS

I do a lot of car camping with my son but now want to buy a trailer so that my wife and I can travel. She does not car camp however I believe she would if we had a nice trailer and it appears that an AS would fit the bill. We are in our mid sixties and for the most part it would be just the two of us, however, it would also be used when camping with my son and family. I do not want a large one however the 19' Bambi looked a little small. I was also concerned about the double bed as it might be difficult to crawl in and out of in the middle of the night. I suspect we would use it mostly for long weekends but would also use it for longer periods (1 or 2 weeks). In fact we would like to go to Alaska, so that would definitly be a long trip. I would prefer to buy use say 2005 or later but not sure what options to look for and or how to inspect a trailer. I have also towed a boat in the past

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle

First off, welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us.

Take a look at a 25' Front Bedroom. We have a 2005 25FB that we have spent almost 900 nights in and have towed 80,000 miles. This is a very workable camping unit that is quite comfortable with a walk around queen bed and separate shower. We are both 62 years old, and this floor plan really works for us.
