North Trail RV (Fort Myers)

Anyone purchase or service an Airstream trailer from North Trail RV in Fort Myers? Good experience? Bad? Indifferent? Thanks for any feedback!

I didn't purchase from them, nor have I had service done. That being said, they where *new* to Airstreams when we visited them last April 2014 when we started looking to buy. The staff was friendly. And at the time they only had a few units. I think they where building a whole new facility. That's my only experience with them.

That being said, I liked them more than my shopping experience at TampaRV. I won't go there for anything just because it was so bad.

We purchased from these people typical wide boys (car salesmen). No support or service follow up unless you have 60 days to wait

Agree with Bold Adventure - stay away from TampaRV & their affiliates!!!

I LOVE North Trail!!!!!! I get a huge amount of re-do work after their techs screw up the repairs and the clients get disgusted.

We went to North Trail in 2013 fairly soon after they became a fully fledged dealer (rather than just handling Interstates) to have a trailer leak tracked down and fixed under warranty. We allowed them to suggest the best appointment time. They kept the trailer for a little over three weeks and found nothing (in their words, the water ingress must have resulted from freak deluge which was not encouraging as we noticed it during the Florida dry season). A stop at Jackson Center ultimately took care of this problem. Pleasant enough people in the service area but do not think our issue got the attention it should have.

Yikes. Thanks for all the candid feedback! Sounds like they will be towards the bottom of my list. Sadly, if both NT and RVOne are iffy, that means I'm in for a drive as the four closest dealers to me are affiliated with one of those two companies.

3x for JD Sanders. Nothing fancy. Had my warranty work done there. Treated me like I had purchased from them. In a good way. Good work at a fair price.

My only experience with North Trail was a minor purchase of a spare wheel. I had the tire they supplied the wheel from my phone conversation explaining the year and model of my AS. I found them to be very helpful. Some times you just get the wrong person to help you, unfortunately. This when they first got the dealership a couple of years ago. Nice to have someone in this area. I am willing to give them a chance. Unfortunately I will not give RV One another chance, what's with their attitude. do they want our business or what. I was at the rally in Sarasota a couple of years ago and all I heard was negative statements about Bates etc. I don't what the story is with Bates, they have small presence here in Venice, FL. Heard good things about Sanders though.
