Re: 26U
Saw this in Farmington at the International and fell in love. If I did not have my Serenity, I would have gone for this. AS needs to offer the larger water tank on all its models, however, my humble opinion......😉

Airstream Adventures NW was recently rated #1 Airstream Dealer for Sales and Service internationally and they have four store locations in the Pacific NorthWest. Jackie Saldivar at 503-729-7426 could be a good contact and they are eager to sell of the 2015 models in inventory.

Thanks again, everyone, this is a really helpful discussion!
We're leaning towards the 2015 as for the $77K it comes with 2-panel solar system (the batteries are brand new and were removed from the unit so that they do not get a deep discharge inadvertently. It was not used on a show floor and apparently shows no wear whatsoever. I am looking at the unit on Sunday and will post pics. I will check for corrosion as well on the shell. They are also putting on 4 new high-end Michelin tires, so an additional upgrade for no extra charge. I like this deal. Also, the unit was shipped from the factory on March 30th of this year, so it is a later-built 2015. Final thoughts anyone?

Forgot to add the critical piece is we need a home before mid-October as that is when our house closes and we need to be out of there. Waiting for factory dates is just too risky seeing as we have a deadline to be in our trailer by.

The hump is still on all 2016 models with ducted air. It is no big deal, you would never notice it unless you climbed up on a ladder. It doesn't make the roof leak and isn't any more susceptible to leaks than the non-ducted air models.

They may have redesigned the end caps to match the higher roof on the 2016 trailers.

No, it is still the same design as in 2015.
