My Printable Inspecting Checklist - Airstream
This is what I came up with to complete a thorough inspection of an airstream for the first time.
If you are driving a long way, try to review this checklist as much as possible over the phone with the owner. I found it would have saved me 7 hrs just for one airstream.
Remember, there will always be a deal out there. This gives you a chance to bring as much objective information home to look at potential concerns/repairs prior to committing to a purchase.
See if you can meet at a hook up location so you can make sure all systems work. I found "everything works" doesn't mean anything if the last time anything was turned on was 3 years ago.
