Lost another one......

Another deal fell through......... (was not my fault).

I am back searching again. This makes 4 times I have contacted our credit union and sent a link for them to look at......they probably hate me by now..

The bad part is my wife and I just sold our other camper to make room for this Airstream.... so now we don't have a camper to camp in this fall.

The drive way is empty.........I even put an RV power pole up to support the new Airstream and make it permanent in our driveway even when we were not camping.

I am getting tired.

Please keep your eyes peeled for one like in the link below,

I'm sorry you are having such problems and wonder if your credit union has required that they see the trailer before the deal is struck? We've never financed an RV so I don't know if this is usual, under the circumstances, but it seems peculiar to me.

Having had a number of loans over the years I can't say our credit union has ever wanted anything but the vin number or the year of the vehicle I'm buying and with this they can determine the value. This has generally taken only the time of a phone call, especially if they know our plan beforehand.

I'm sure your trailer is out there.

Hang in there Robbie.

Hope you're still planning to come by the Fall Vintage Rally in Walland.

Want One?

Hello. I think I've found it for you. It's in Virginia Beach, VA and I've seen the outside - looks cherry. They had it parked near an affluent intersection with a for sale sign. You KNOW I stopped to gawk. The man who owns it used it as a summer cabin at the lake. Now they've bought a real cabin and want to unload the Airstream. It is a wide body. Awnings all around. I'll be happy to get a camera and take inside pictures.

Ad in the Virginian-Pilot: 31 ft Airstream 2001 Classic. Limited Edition. Barely used. Like new. Too many extras to list $35,000.
Call (757) 615-3762.

Call Mary at Don Mar RV sales in Lynchburg, SC. Phone
803-453-5011. She has about 5-6 used airstreams. I bought
mine from her. She had a 2005 that was never titled. It was too
big for me. Hope things work out for you.

Robbie....Right here in our classifieds is probably the best deal on a newer model. Look at what comes with it. Being sold by a long time member...it sounds great....remember my recent experiences with chasing down a good Airstream has not been stellar. Good luck.

I Searched for a year, thought it would never happen but it finally did, and from right here on the Forums.

You'll find yours, don't be discouraged, and don't settle for one that is anything less than what you want.

Good luck!
