Lack of insulation in floor of 22' CCD

Ok gang, here's another newbie question...... I understand that a 2002 22' ccd is without belly pan and insulation in the floor. Why is this stuff left out of this model, and how much insulation is in the floor of other models? Thanks!

I had no idea that it didn't have floor insulation. Are there other models that also don't? I'm thinking of removing the FG insulation from my pan and just leaving the space void - water cant accumulate that way and I doubt if the insulation does much good.
