What size is it and is it center or rear bath? I have an 81, 31 ft center bath.

Pull up the carpet under the beds. I bet you will find floor rot. The beds hinge so you can lift them up. There is a prop thing you can set to hold the bed upright. Look at the floor in all 4 corners and to the right of the door. I paid $5k for mine and I did not know about the floor rot.

My experience

I am a newbie and therefore not an expert. I bought this one for 1500. The good; new tires, working ac, reese hitch, working brakes, good working awnings, good axles, good converter, good undercarriage, all working windows and decent overall condition. The bad; rear bath is getting a complete repair. Water damage wasn't as bad as the above post but needed a rebuild. The gas hot water heater needed replacing. Fridge. was replaced with a 110 unit so that limits it to a hookup or generator. 12 volt water pump was replaced with a 110 unit. The entire electrical, exterior and interior needed a checkup. Fuses replaced, pigtails put in. Taillights restored, running lights fixed. Exterior skin is in the polishing process. All joints are resealed. The bath fixtures had to be taken out and are in the process of being gel coated. The black water tank is missing. All in all, I have about 4000 in it now. 1100 in labor, 1400 in parts. I looked for a year and couldn't find a turn-key situation for a cheap price. I do feel that I will have value for what I have in mine with no hidden issues and only myself to blame if things go wrong. It is not for the faint of heart. This forum is absolutely great to get involved, learn, do for one's self and learn an entirely new chapter for my life. Hopefully the pictures are attached! Good luck! Ask lots of questions! Bill
