Have you traded up? How'd it go?

Have you just traded up? I'd like to. Im currently in an 07 19ft bambi and now feel i need to trade up to either a 25FB or 27FB. Am looking at 08 internationals, or 09 is fine but felt i should be getting a better deal on the 08. Im wondering how it went? Did you get what you wanted out of your trade? How did you figure your best deal? Dealer showed you book value for trade? were you able to beat that? Better to sell outright than trade? If you've done this recently what kind of % off MSRP were you able to manage? Ive just begun the process and first offer i got was book for my trade and 10% off an 08? Im thinking more like 20%-25% off MSRP and book plus $5K for my trade. It's mint and will sell easy for them im sure. Just how off is my logic? thanks for any insights.

You might possibly get 25% off on the list on an 08.... but list plus 5K on the trade? NO. One or the other. Maybe.
