Thumbs up Going in for the final deal!

I have just purchased a 2011 19ft Flying Cloud from a dealer.I settled on a price and now the dealer wants to sell me warranty for 4 years for $2800 and offer me some sort of coating for the trailer. My question is,is really necessary for the extras? This is our first Airstream and this trailer is in mint condition. Thank you

is it 4 yrs AFTER the 2 yr warranty? or 2 years after the 2 year warranty? the trailer includes a 2 yr warranty. also find out what kind of coating. they are already clear-coated; i'd be curious to know what they are trying to upsell you. An additional 4 yrs after the 2 year included warranty might be worth it; read the forums and see what kind of problems new trailers have.

then again, a warranty wouldnt cover much of these problems; filoform, shrinking / expanding vinyl floor covering, rusty rivets. what else am i missing?

I would pass on both of those dealer offerings. The dealer, like most car dealers, is trying to maximize his profit.

Predictable fluff they at the end - huge markups on stuff like that usually I suspect.
