Feedback needed on Classic 31D...

We bought our first Stream last November, an International ccd 27fb, and we like it very much...

We would also like a lil' more living area, so we are seriously considering a new 31D Classic with the free standing dinette... Reason being, is the dinette table top slides on a track attached to the trailer sidewall, which can be modified to allow it to be slid all the way up against the fridge...This I think would allow me to place a small recliner between the dinette and the sofa...I know this is a costly upgrade for the added livability, however coming from a 45 foot Moho to a Stream was shock enuff...LOL So it's worth it to us for the added space if its feisable to do as stated...We are not full-timers but will be spending several months a year in the Stream...

Your feedback is humbly sought...

It sounds like that will work without exorbitant expense, Greg. I would much rather relax in a recliner and eat off a TV tray. There are some RV recliners out there that are on a swivel base.

You know, it's a personal taste thing. I love the 31' dinette. The neat thing about the one yer lookin' at is that there is no real bunched up front where the sofa is right up against the dinette. I just recently came across the 30' Flying Cloud. That is really a great floorplan IMHO. If that only came in Classic trim.

my wife thought it was the best floorplan for us when we bought our 2007.after 4 years of ownership we are still content.the size works very well for two people and eventually when time permits we will travel a couple months at a time.for now we use the coach for family travel.i have to say that it is as comfortable as home on the road.we had a 2005 safari 28 ft before this one and we prefer the layout and classic trim much better.
