We moved up to a 30 fairly recently. We love the extra light and the extra room. We find that it tows better than our 27 FB AS perhaps due to weight distribution?? In any event, towing is good, backing in to the driveway took just a little adjusting. We love the L couch and the extra storage will especially be appreciated as we plan to travel more consistently in the near future. Our current TV works fine (F150 EB) currently although we are considering moving up to a 3/4 ton since we intend to do more mountain travel. The twin beds really open up the bedroom.

Went from 25' to 30' and now 30' again in 2015. Dual air also provides dual heat pump. It's only slightly more challenging to back into some places with a 30' as compared to a 25'. I can still drive thru Walmart parking lots, up and down the parking lanes if I need to, just need to be careful and SLOW.

If I had my choice I would always opt larger, we got the single queen, with two lounge chairs up front. Like the layout and found as with our other 30' no real storage issues as we don't take much with us even on 8 week trips.

Good Luck

Upsizing

We upsized from a 23' to a 30' classic limited. What a world of difference. But, if you are uncomfortable with towing, and one can say this about towing any size vehicle, you will be uncomfortable towing a 30 foot trailer. On the other hand, if you have comfort towing, and have a 3/4 ton towing vehicle you will not have a problem anywhere. Our last trip was 5000 miles, and 25 or so different campgrounds, parks and/or parking places. We never found a place where we couldn't park and never had a problem parking. If you think you might have problems backing into spaces, either select pull throughs or, even better, put up some cones in your yard or a friend's field and practice backing up. You will find, after a short practice session or two, you can park any place. And towing, the trailer follows you wherever you go, albeit you have to remember you have 30 extra feet hanging off the back of your tow vehicle and have a little common sense in watching where you go. Don't try and put it in a 9' high garage, don't try and turn around in a 40' parking space - use common sense. Like one commentor said, I have never heard one complaint about "EXTRA SPACE!!!"

Trade up and enjoy!!!

I went from a 25' Cloud to a 30' Cloud because I tend to hang out in the trailer. In the 25 footer the dinette was the catch all for everything and not really that comfortable. With the 30 footer I now have two recliners and with the fold out table have a great deal of extra work space. Kind of like adding another room to the trailer. Also more kitchen storage and of course the ducted air with two AC's/heaters just makes for a better experience for this half or more timer.

No regrets going from a 25FB to a 31' Classic which is only 5' 1" longer than the 25FB.

Just a footnote. At a rally last year we were all showing off our trailers and I went into a 30'er and just loved it. I asked the owner why did you go with a 30 footer and he replied " I thought I would just start out where everyone else ends up."

Started with a 30 queen rear and recliners in front. Great for us two and 3 dogs. Very easy to maneuver. 3/4 ton Duramax TV.
