Go to St Joe State Park in FL and stay at the Shady Pines Loop. Best beaches you will find on the Gulf coast and mainly yahoo free.

Here are some photos.

perry....this was where I very first saw the ocean for the first time in my life...at age 15 almost 16...as a matter of fact went with a buddy at that time whos parents had a small white box trailer...although it was kinda small and we slept in a tent...just steps away from the other side of the dunes to the beach...fond memories..

This experience even at this "later" age (coupled with similar experiences my wife had RV'ing) is what drives us.

Yahoo free is good too

We are biased of course - but we think the BH is the best option for a family. If gives maximum flexibility to accommodate different sleep patterns.

I get up early - I can move around the trailer, make breakfast, and sit at the table while everybody else is still asleep.

We have 2 kids (10 and 12) - they have their own space with their own favourite sleep items that never need to move. If they want to go to bed early, they can.

Convertible sleep spaces put everybody onto the same schedule.

We moved up from a 20' SOB to the 30' BH - no towing issues other than a bit harder to find camping locations. I doubt you will notice any performance difference between the 28' and 30' BH.

Hard to get around the cost however - unless you look for an older BH.

we are pretty much now settled on the 28 flying cloud....after talking with wife indeed, as stated, 2 ac units will be right up front....extra cost will not be a big deal..awnings all the way around...inverter....golden ultraleather....

The unit in quesiton in this thread is actually exactly what we want right now...on the lot....but we can also get a 2014 model built to order from the closer dealer to me (4 hours instead of near 6)....

Come July, we will take a final look in person at the units and make sure we all agree...then if that one is still on the lot, we will get offers from them and for 2014 model and compare....
