Greetings from the Florida Panhandle
Welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us.
When shopping for a late model Airstream. Generally, you'll be looking for a unit that looks good, inside and out as opposed to a trailer that is all beat up. Check the manufacture date on the tires. Many times, the tires still have a lot of tread, but are well over six years old and not trustworthy on the highway. Check all of the appliances including the air conditioner and furnace for proper operation. These are expensive items to replace.
Nice things to have are Fantastic Fans, a water filtering system, and an internal black tank flusher.
You also need to consider items that come with the trailer like sewer dump hoses, hoses for potable water, a power cord extension, wheel chocks, and leveling blocks.
You are also going to need a high quality weight distribution/swat control hitch system.
Many times some or all of these item come with a used Airstream if the owner is getting out travel trailer camping.
