My 31 sat unused for 10 yrs. with propane in tanks. They are aluminum tanks that came on AS new, now 37 yrs. old I have not had any prob. to date with contamination so maybe this is steel tank issue. Also had valves changed to new type several yrs. ago.

Also, when changing tires taking hubs off to check the brakes, repack the bearings. Sitting for any length of time the old grease dries up.
Have a safe trip.

Our 31 also sat for 10 years due to chronic illness by the PO. She has lived in our back yard undergoing slow renovations of just about everything for the past two years.

Would we do it again or just buy a newer unit?

There are days when I really don't like having to do all of the work on this one when we could actually be USING it, but then there are days when I love that we know every inch of her. (the good, the bad and the ugly)

It's a choice only you, knowing your available time, energy and $$, can make, but you either way, you are a member of the Airstream family!
