Welcome to Airfurms.com, beaulieu! You have come to the right place for advice on old and unusual Airstream trailers!

One thing to do is to keep an eye on the Clissifieds section here. Look up to the top of this page, and under the "S" in Air Forums, just click on the link.

You use the same login there as the one that you created for this section.

Good luck, and keep us up to date on your search.

I bought my trailer near Kingston. It was at a campground about 30 minutes north on Perth Road. His name is Henri.

I looked on Vintage Airstream Classifieds, when I email to find out if they are sold I do not get a reply. I will keep looking.

C'est pas grave. The one thing you will have to do is remember to be very patient.

While there are very many Airstreams out there, the one you want is rarely the first one you see. In fact, it might not be the fifteenth one you see.

Go around to dealers, go to the shows (there is one this month, see this link to the site) and sit in every AS (Airstream) that you can. Let yourself get used to the different sizes.

This is very important, because many people wind up making a second purchase because they didn't take the time to be sure that they could live in the one that they thought they could.

I rarely hear anyone on this forum say that they bought a TT (travel trailer) that is too big, but I have heard many say that they bought one that was too small...

So! Go sit in as many as you can find. Go to the show this month in Toronto. If you get up really early, you can do it all in one day!

Watch Kijiji, the newspapers, ebaY, the Classified section on here, and any other medium that advertises, and sooner or later, you will find one you like!

If you are patient...

I'm partial to the bubble. I found a stripped out 1956 whale tail in Portland, Oregon and bought it on the spot. There are a few out there but every one I've seen (online) was in need of complete restoration. You can check out my thread to see my version of a start to finish restoration. The good thing about starting from scratch is you can do it your own way. I haven't met another bubble owner yet but hope to soon! Happy shopping. Cheers. Ted

If you do, look for Can-Am RV, in booth A8. I doubt that there will be another Airstream dealer, but Can-Am is the largest we have here in Canada.

Look up Andrew Thomson, the president. He is a member here, Andrew. T
