Alta Safe Transactions (AST) or Ubokia

Anyone heard of either of these companies?

I'm finding mixed info, but nothing with much of a history.

I had contacted one seller that said she was using AST but when I asked about someone from WBCC going to inspect it she disappeared and hasn't contacted me since... (suspicious).

I've never heard of them, and we do a lot of business online. Unfortunately I think the fact that your seller disappeared when you wanted to get a closer look tells you all you need to know about that transaction.

Nearly all online escrow companies are fraudulent.

Ubokia has very few listings. In the automotive section there is one listing for "Chevrolet" nationwide. Regardless of the purity of motives of the site operator, it does not appear to be of much use.
