What is a fair price to ask for on a new 2009 or 2010 CCD 23' How much should I offer from sticker price?

I have read here that some ask as much as 30% but since I've been looking it is more like 15 to 18%. I guess it just depends on where you live? I am considering a 23 Sig also and my dealership would only come down to 52900. I think I can do better. The other problem is financing. With good credit number, close to 800, I can only get a 8% loan. I think that is too high. What is the market like in Washington. We use to live in Federal Way. 86 through 89

bought my 08 28' safari se from bates in june, sticker was 67,000 paid 49,000 so it was discounted about 24% and that was as low as it was going. as far as interest rates we have an 820 score with a few large cds and savings at wachovia and there rate was 9% so i paid cash. Bates said they could have got a loan for 6.75%

I have a request from anyone that has a 23 footer. I presume that the trailer is measured from the tonque to the bumper measured 23FT so If that is the case, can someone measure from bumper to top of rear window, please?
I have parking constraints at home. If there is a foot difference, I'm in.

Would anyone advise buying an Airstream travel trailer off ebay? I'm considering this as there seems to be very good deals on there.

But i'm a bit worried of buying an Airstream sight unseen, has anyone bought from ebay before?

This past October I bought a new 2007 25 FB Ocean Breeze from Airstream of Indiana (Twin City Airstream). I saw the ad on E-Bay and spoke with the salesman Tom Yater. I sent a $1000.00 deposit that was conditional and subject to my inspection upon arrival. Everything was represented correctly and the buying experience was handled very well. Purchasing something this expensive on E-bay was way out of my comfort zone, but the end result was excellent. Hope this helps.

You may get a bigger discount, but......

Hi, it's not just the percentage of discount off of the list price, it's the whole picture or bottom line. I got a good deal on the price, plus a free hitch, plus a free brake controller, plus a free belt moulding, No set-up or prep charges, no demomstration charges, no sales tax, and no finance charges.

Basically, if you get 50% of list price and pay 15% interest for 20 years, you didn't get a good deal. [fictitious numbers for example]

I'd be surprised if you could get a new one below $50K, or more than 8K off MSRP. RVT.com is a good way to see what they're going for all across the country (though some dealers just say "Call for Price")

rv_brit - I bought my 2006 16' Quiksilver on e-bay just last year. I did a lot of research on what would be a fair price before looking. The seller happened to be close by, so I sent a message and he let me stop by to inspect before bidding. I'm very pleased with the experience.
