This is my first post! My wife and I are on the verge of purchasing a 23D Bunk and taking off for a year with our daughter on a west coast "adventure". We have gone back and forth over the pros and cons of other sizes and models (it's been a long process!), but are pretty sure this is the one (for a variety of reasons). However one "dilemma" remains and that is the fact that the windows in the sleeping area do not open in the Bunk model. We would love to hear from others who have this model, to see what you think of it overall but in particular to find out if you found this particular design feature limiting. Did you wish they could open? Did it restrict air circulation? And any idea why they don't open in the first place?
I so not have 23D, , I have 19' with the small windows in kitch and bathroom. I am fetting a price to put a window that opens in the kitchen. I love cross venilation and now all four sides will open.
Your trip sounds wonderful. I hope someone can answer your question.
