MMMMMMMM--- don't say it!!!

I know there's a joke to be had about the importance of 6 inches, but I won't give in to the temptation.
I won't.
I won't.
I won't.

Again it's really a matter of personal preference and what meets your own individual needs. How many people and pets do you travel with? How much space do you need? For me smaller is always better. I like to travel light and have the flexibility to turn around and park anywhere I want. And storage is easy for a smaller trailer. I did just what you are planning to do and it really helps. Go to a dealer and sit in each size (for a while) and imagine how you will use the space. Once you are in them you'll have a better feel for what fits for you. Good luck and post photos!

check out ...

the new 23 ft floorplan with the FB look but with the rear bedroom instead.

It's got a HUGE seating plan in front... seems really open. And will sleep 5-6. I love it.

colonialairstream.com has one (see cilantro interior) - I think it's the CCD Signiture edition.
Happy hunting!
Marc

We did see one of the new 23' floorplans in Ocean Breeze. It was a really nice floor plan. Very light and bright with the white interior. It also has curtains on the bedroom windows, something I would like to add if we get the Safari.

We have decided (maybe) to get the 23' SE LS. Bates has a 2006 19' that I would buy in a minute, but my husband prefers at least 23' and two axels. I guess the 23' is a compromise between the 25' and 19'.

They suggest an Equal-i-zer hitch.

Will think it all over tonight and study all the information I can find, again.

Thanks for all the help, replies, suggestions, etc! Really appreciate it!

Pat

The 23' is a great choice. Being a tandem axle, it has a huge carrying capacity, I think it has greater capacity than the 25FB'. The 19' and 23' have basically the same bed/bath combo, if the bed and bath are big enough for you, go for the 23'. Make sure you try the bath and bed, if it doesn't work for you, go for the 25FB. Goin camping had a 19' and went to a 25FB in a few months, partially due to the small bath and tight bed.

starflyte1,

We bought our 23' SE LS from Bates in December. Ask for Debra. And, accept the Equal-i-zer recommendation--a great hitch for that size trailer.
