2012 Sport 22

Have my eye on my first (maybe?) Airstream. A new 22 Sport listed at $45,500 MSRP. Seems close to NADA guide MSRP. I've read through the forums here and it seems as though people recommend offering maybe 25% off MSRP at first. It's the last 2012 on their lot other than a couple of 30 footers. They already have the 2013 22's in their inventory. I guess my question is where people would start their offer considering its the end of the year and 'off season' here in Oregon.

This time of the year I would push it a bit more, start off at 35% just to get their attention and barter from there. I would bet the dealership would like to move 2012 so that they can focus on the new models. Good Luck with your new Airstream and let us know how it works out.

You may want to look at eBay. Woodland Travel Center just listed a sweet 2011 20 Safari. It a much better trailer for the less money. More cabnets of better quility. More windows of better grade. Better shower and bath. I looked at the sport model and purchased a Safari. You won't be sorry.
