Which number is my Safari VIN?

There are two numbers next to the door, and I don't know which is the VIN. One is 0228J237 and the other is C145FH. I don't have a clue which one is the VIN and what the other one means. I need to know for when I go to get my tag.

EXCEPT...that decoder is wrong. On the decoder it says, the "O" (oh) means Overlander (a length) when in actuality it is "0" (zero) and it is just a placeholder for when "I" (eye, not one) for International (which is a trim & accessory package) is not used.

I really wish someone would fix that...they (Airstream) of all people, ought to know better!

VIN for 1968 Safari

Thanks to all who responded. So I guess mine was made in Ohio and it was number 237 in production. At least now I know which number to use when I register it.Just for curiousity's sake, what does the other set of numbers mean?

I don't know for sure what that other number is, but I have a suspician that it has something to do with the options on the trailer. PM 47WeeWind (Fred Coldwell). If anybody knows, he will.
