We are still trying to get a title for our 1963 safari. If has several numbers on the trailer, most of them on plates attached to the trailer. There is one number on a plate located under the front window (above the tongue), there are 2 seperate plates at the front door and one engraved on the tongue itself. Where whould I locate the VIN number, serial number, ect. What are these numbers for?
The VIN number should be stamped (or engraved) into a very long oval located on the plate next to the door that has AIRSTREAM across its top in raised letters.

On the side of your coach, next to the door on a blue placard, should be a series of letters and numbers stamped on it. This is your serial number.
Your number should start with 223.
