Can anybody tell me where the VIN is located on a 1985 Sovereign? I found numbers on the A frame but they don't correspond to the title. Are there any secondary stampings elsewhere on the trailer?

There should be a tag at the front left corner of the trailer. It will give the VIN, production date, GVW, and some other details. The numbers stamped on the A frame are not necessarily the VIN, they can be a portion of it.

There is a plate that is to rt. of door below window that gives vin. # it includes place of manf. size of AS and style, if not there will be holes where removed or patched. Older AS I have never seen vin. stamped any where but I may be mistaken. There is not one stamped on a frame of my 76 AS as I have stripped and painted several times none seen, also when change axles none seen.
