Title #?

Does anyone know where I can look up a title number for a bill of sale if I have the VIN number? Trying to get a temp tag until the title arrives.

I guess you mean the serial number. To the right of the entry door on the plate located about eye (if your short) level.

R U trying to locate a missing title from a previous owner? It depends on the state and how long ago it was titled. You may have to find the last titled owner and have him fill out some forms. Or if there is no title you may be able to post an assurity bond. There are some companies that will do the work for you for a fee. You can find them on the internet. Good luck U may need it.
