hey redhawkerII,
That's the same Ghost of Wallys past stickers that I have front and rear. You can tell there is something there but you can only read them in dim light, at an angle, on Tuesday ...reminds me of my old Alaska flight instructor who used to say...."if you squint real hard here and use your imagination you can just make out the landing strip up ahead....."

Hey Safari...we get the tornadoes and you all get the snow,...Everytime I stop painting for other people I turn my attention to this Airstream...They (airstream) said I could restore the numbers that had been there and own those numbers again and be a member....see any polarbears?

TORNADOES?!?!? I'll take the snow thanks, It may be cold and dark for 7 months but at least I know God's not going to relocate me to Arkansas when I'm not looking!

Thanks for starting this thread. Streamer23 helped me find original owner info and the 1960s caravan they on.

Got 1500 lb Brown bears in back yard in summer. Polar bears are 500 miles North, been there, seen them...amazing!

Really, tornadoes? let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

RedhawkerII,
You are correct...as long as the numbers have not already been reassigned to other members or retained by the original member who may still be active in another trailer. You can contact WBCCI membership to see if the ghost numbers on your trailers are still available.

The round ghost sticker you see above the ghost numbers is the WBCCI sticker...

streamer 23,
I am the proud new owner of what I believe is a 19' 1962 Globetrotter. I would love to know the history. Blue numbers on the back are 26711 and vin is192D1259. The more I learn about this AS the little I realize I knew when I began this adventure.
Thanks

Hi,
WBCCI numbers are red and I will be able to help you if in fact they are that colour. If the numbers are blue on your Globetrotter it is possible it belonged to a Forum member. Can you confirm the colour of the numbers?

Mike

Thanks for the response. The numbers are so faded I can't be certain but I believe they were originally blue.

The Blues

If someone used blue numbers they did it outside the standards set so many years ago, that my toes, and fingers are unable to count the many years of the red numbers.

It appears that the Airstreamer was creative, or it is possilbe belonged to one of the other clubs that accepted all comers.

Red is good, red is right, and so-on and so-on.

I tried to get the info for Inaley but #26711 does not appear in any of my directories. The number would have been issued in the 1972-1973 area.If another forum member has a directory in the 1970's maybe they could provide some info to Inaley.

When we joined this February, we requested my parents number, 10781. My dad died in 06 and mom didn't keep up the membership. They were streamers for over 28 years.
