I'm confused....

My hubby and I just recently bought a 1979 Airstream... on the title, it says just that...

My question is: on the front and back it says Airstream. On the left side (where the door is) it says the word International. Then near the door it says Sovereign and Land Yacht.

I'm confused on what the ACTUAL title is for my baby, because I see Sovereign airstreams and international airstreams.

Can someone help me?? Thank you

Cass

Sounds like the best of all worlds. . I think Jonny Cash had a song about a 56 Cadillac, or was it a 57, maybe a 58?

You own an Airstream. It is a Sovereign which means it is 31 feet long. It has the International trim package which means it is fully self contained. 110v, 12v, on board water and heat....
Now, your title. Titles are rarely correct to what you really have. Post your serial number and we can see if it really is correct.

It says I31-A9J-1660 then on top it says J-224 GH.... I just have the "vehicle" ID number on the Title.

I'd appreciate the help in decoding the number lol

You have an
I - International trim package (E = Excella, L = Land Yacht)
31 - 31 feet long, which means it's a Sovereign
A - Center bath twin bed (B is center bath, double bed, T is rear bath twin bed, D is rear bath, double bed)
9 - 1979 (if the last number had only 3 digits, the "9" would mean 1969)
J - Made at Jackson Center in Ohio (S is Santa Fe Springs or Cerritos, CA)
1660 - The 1,660th one made
