How many international sterlings 25 FB were built in 2014

Does any one know how to find out the production numbers for a specific year and model airstream built. I called airstream and their rep didn't know. I know you can use the vin to find certain info but I didn't see a place for how many were built. I just purchased a new 2014international sterling 25 FB and was wondering about the production numbers.

The six digit "number" after all the letters of the VIN is a sequential number not related to just one model. The trailers come down the line in a random order with any other model in line next to the one you are standing beside. Our Classic had a Flying Cloud on one side and a International on the other. Another Classic of the same configuration was several spaces ahead.

I am sure there are internal documents not available to the world of how many of each model and trim are produced each year.

I know that the answer is out there... Our dealer got the information about the number of Serenity 16's produced in the final year (7 units! In 2012).

A search on the built VIN numbers first 11 numbers and letters without the last six sequential digits would group each model number in a split second on a 2,500 built unit data base. Would take someone at Airstream less than five minutes to determine that information if they have not already done so for their marketing purposes.

Do any of you really believe Airstream does not know how many of each unit they have built? I have not encountered a CFO using cost accounting without insight into which product produces the most profit (and how much), as well as where each model/length falls in the line up. Add Thor into the equation and the notion of production ignorance becomes even more absurd.

It is their choice to disclose or withhold specific production data as they see fit. Occasionally, some data gets out for a host of reasons, but the policy is internal retention.

I called Gretchen B from airstream owner relations today about production numbers, she got back to me within 3 hours. Great job-5 Stars. The production numbers were 10 International sterlings 25 FB and 35 27 foot sterlings for model year 2014.
