I used a title company in Maine to register mine, as you only need a bill of sale and do not need to be a resident. I then took the registration to my local DMV where they accepted the valid registration as proof of ownership to title it here. Took a few weeks, but was much easier than tracking down the 3 owners since the last time my trailer was registered.

As far as I iknow trailors in the UK do not have a title.
But getting it shiped without a title may be a problem, just ask the shipping agent.
On the cars and the two airstreams that i have shiped overhere the shipper needed the title.
