Calling Mississippi

Anyone with a 1952 Vintage Airstream want a perfect 1952 Miss. Travel Trailer license plate. I found one in my latest project and don't plan on using it.

Thanks for thinking of me. That's a cool plate, but you know what they say about "close" - is only good in the game of horseshoes. If it was a 1953, I'd want it in a heartbeat. I didn't really even know if Miss. had separate trailer plates that long ago.

TLR ? is that the abbreviation for trailer?
Wonder why some states put the word private on some plates? Isn't everything private that's not owned by the guv?

On Mississippi license plates, TLR is an abbreviation for trailer. We also have Commercial license plates for company owned trailers. Private plates are for individuals.
