1950s Cruiser - VIN 6139 - Help me identify

Hello,
I was wondering if you all could help me identify what year and model my newly purchased Airstream is. I am getting conflicting information from different sources and am including some pictures for help.
It was sold as a '53 Cruiser 25' and has the serial number as you can see in the following photos of 6139 on the Airstream plate with the LA, California address. Is this correct? It is titled as a 1958, but this doesn't look like other '58s I've seen.

It's either a late 1952 or an early 1953 25' Cruiser built in California. There is no distinct cut-off number between those 2 years of 25' Cruiser production in California, so I can't say for sure the exact year in which it was manufactured. But it may have been titled in the year sold, so I'd go with a 1953 25' Cruiser, as represented to you.

Does the serial number on the certificate of title show 6139? If so, then someone at some state's title department may have mistaken a hand written "3" for an "8" on some earlier paperwork so typed it in as "1958" rather than "1953". It is NOT a 1958 Airstream. Enjoy your new vintage Airstream!

What a beauty! Love the polish job! I have serial #6294. It's a 53 (manufactured in 52) sold as a 53 model. It's a California made. My title says its a 54. I can only assume the title was lost at some point and that is when the error was made. My confirmation came from the person who maintains or did maintain the Vintage Airstream resource page 12 years ago. Would love to see pics of the interior.
