Motor Home Insurance in Ontario

Has any body else had trouble finding Insurance for their motor home in Canada i.e. Ontario, We are going to buy a 1975 26ft Argosy motor home and I am finding it very hard to find a company to Insure it because they say it is to old.

I hope some body can help out or I think we will have to cancel the purchase

Thanks
John

Hi John
Here's the company that insures my 74 Airstream Trailer
Wayfarer Insurance Brokers
328 Mill Street, Unit 6,
Beaverton ON
Phone 1800 461 0318

They are usually present at each Airstream rally in the Ontario District.
I have had two claims with them. One for a collision with a traffic barrier and another for a break-in to my trailer. They were very prompt and fair.
My premium for a valuation of $8000, was about $150.00 and it includes some cover for outbuildings (my tool shed), personal property in the trailer and emergency vacation expense (putting you in a hotel while the trailer claim is adjusted)
It also includes 1,000,000 liability coverage etc. Good package.
Sarge

Thanks for the reply Sarge
I talked to my insurance carrier this morning and they are going to cover it on my pickup policy. So now all we have to do is go out and drive it back

Thanks for the help
John
