Insuring new AS prior to registration in home state

We are picking up our new AS (and first RV) at CanAm in London, ON in early July.

Seem to have a Catch 22 situation, but I am sure there will be an experienced-based solution here in Airforums.

We are financing our trailer through Essex Credit. Essex requires proof of insurance prior to release of funds. Insurance company will not bind coverage until AS is registered here in MA. Cannot register in MA until we take delivery, transport across US border, and get form from Customs (1-2 weeks after border crossing). Cannot take delivery until CanAm is paid.

Anyone deal with this issue before? Perhaps I should talk to a different insurance company?
