Insuring my trailer - Value?

I am thinking about insuring my trailer and was trying to get out of them what happens when it is totalled. Are you going to give me blue book on it which is probably $1000 so why insure it at all? They were saying that it would probably be the original cost of the trailer in 1981 in which case I am happy with that because that is still more than I paid for it. So how do they usually deal with these issue as far as what it is worth.

There is a method of insuring at what is called "agreed value". Ask them if they do that.

There is one company that is consistently mentioned in this regard, but I can't recall their name. I'm sure someone else will
