You are buying a used RV from a private buyer out of state and want to have it insured when bringing it home. Problem is that the insurance company will only insure for the NADA value which is only a fraction of the actual value. Because of logistics getting an appraisal and cash value policy are not possible until the trailer is home.
How can you get coverage for the trip?

1) call an insurance broker who can work with multiple carriers and find one that will use your bill of sale or "agreed value" policy. They're out there.
2) instead of you picking it up have a service deliver it to you. Ensure you have the value agreed in writing and that the service has adequate coverage.
