We joined Good Sam and Camping World because we thought it might be a good idea re-entering the RV world. Recently we've been inundated with "buy our insurance" junk mail. I've been with USAA for 35 years and only one claim - nobody even comes close.
Well, it appears I cannot get stated value coverage for a '68 Safari, anywhere from anybody. Tried USAA, Progressive, Good Sam, Allstate and AAA - the Good Sam lady simply predicted, flat out, that I would not be able to find or purchase it anywhere. The best I can get is ACV, which is NADA, which is one third of what we're paying for the thing. What do all the vintage/classic owners do?

You might try Hagerty Insurance in Traverse City MI. They handle all kinds of vintage vehicles, starting with classic wooden boats decades ago. Looks like they might be worth contacting.
We use Hartford - they cover both our vehicles and our Airstream. Full coverage - also covered our ’67 Safari for the declared value (that which we had appraised). They’ve been great and not expensive.
