well, the auction ends tomorrow... better tow em to higher ground fast! ha!

I was tempted, but the floors in most of them were already starting to warp, and they weren't totally dry yet. I've already got a few airstreams with rotten floors! ha!

My biggest concern (other than the warped floor) would be wondering how much of that mold was growing under the shiny aluminum interiors. :-S

It was kinda melancholy looking at those 2009 CCDs with high water lines inside half way up the curtains.

When I was there Sat, there was only mold in one trailer. we'll have to dunk these things in a bleach vat.

I saw mold in every trailer, especially in the corners of the cabinets, drawers, etc. I can't believe they didn't even bother to drain the sinks or shower pans. That's keeping them moist on the inside, probably accelerating the mold growth.

sad sad sad!

If I got them, I'd remove the interior in one and make it into an office, and sell the others ASAP. I don't think those floors are going to stay straight once they totally dry out. You could feel every seam in the plywood when you walked across the floor, and the vinyl flooring felt really detached from the floor.

The are parts trailers... sadly!

the auction is complete-

the 8 airstreams went for approx 89K$!! There were 4 bids in this general area. Someone knows more about the value of these than the collective genius of this forum, that's for sure.
thanks to everyone who participated-I guess it is back to business as usual. can't keep a guy from 'streamin' dreamin' tho.

Chassis Serial Numbers: 9J523951; 9J523460;9J523962;AJ524205;AJ524207;AJ524204;8J523 041;8J522191.

Put 'em on a boat and ship them across the Atlantic. Hard to return that way... A trailer flipper is going to have a heyday.

Lets sell them to the folks in Nigeria... the bad cashiers check is probably a fair trade..

I also heard the titles will NOT be stamped "salvage". I don't know how with warped floors like that.

Buyer be ware!

If that is the case, there is a very good possibility then will wind up as "Used" Airstream" for sale.
