We have used the Good Sam Emergency Road Service twice, and were very impressed with the fast service and El Paso, the service company they called didn't show up, so they private contracted another company the next morning...after several AAA nightmares over several years, GS has been a refreshing professional experience.
We still maintain minimal AAA membership for the maps, books, and the occasional discount.

I can't say enough good things about FOREMOST insurance C0.

I've had them for 5 years now. Had a 4,800 dollar claim 2 years ago and it was handled pronto with no questions asked and no out of pocket expense. ALSO, my rates never went up! I have Agreed value and on the trailer, full-timers coverage, plus 10,000 additinal in trailer contents.

they offer a $50 road service rider from Continental Car Club, which covers both my TV and Trailer.

They have sent out 2 flat bed trucks more than once and tire service twice. Always followed up with a phone call.

I can whole heartily recommend FORMOST Insurance Co. of Grand Rapids, MI.

My TV is Insured with progressive.

We have Hartford through AARP for house, car, TV, and both A/Ss. Our 09 25' FC is actually less to insure than was our former 07 23' Safari. When our annual came up this past year for the Safari, only a very slight increase in the premium for the trailer from the year before. We had GMAC/Good Sam when we had the old Class A MH, but switched to Hartford as it was a little cheaper. Maybe it helps that we haven't had any violations or claims in the past 15+ years of driving.

We still have the Emergency Road Service, but have yet to use it.

Is Good Sam a Madoff ponzi scheme in disguise??

As a newbie i placed excess trust, it seem now in Good Sam, I became a member; i purchased an extendeded warranty for my tow a reasonable price; i purchased their emergency roadside assistance..for a decent price...paid a yearly fee in advance for all the above....and am continually bombarded with mail offers to "extend my coverage" and all sorts of come on offers that make me think these people are somehow an extension of Goldman Sacks and are as big a rip off as our federal gogernment has become???? any thoughts????
