I finally went with Progressive ....they will work with you on an agreed value policy. They were recommended to me by my primary insurance company....USAA.

So, did you have to have your AS appraised before they agreed to a price? What procedures were involved?

Went with Allstate, full coverage. All our insurance is with them so we have all kinds of discounts.

Our 1965 Caravel is insured with AAA as are two of our cars. The other two cars are Street Rods insured with Sneed.

Remember.......If you have an accedent, that is your fault, damage to the trailer is covered by the trailer insurance. Damage to others is covered under your tow vihicle insurance.

We had an axel break on the Caravel. The wheel that took off, damaged two nearby cars as well as the trailer. We were towing with the Street Rod. The damage to the other cars was taken care of by our Street Rod insurance, the Caravel was repaired by AAA.

AAA towed the trailer on dollies, repaired the damage, and sent us a check for "rental car", the same as if an insured car had been damaged. We did not ask for that check, they just sent it.

We hever heard a word and our rates did not go up.

You just can't beat good service.
