hi again ernesto.......
here is a thread on financing from one year ago, with useful info....
http://www.airforums.com/forum...ight=financing
use the search feature (finance, bank rates, loans) and other info is available...
of course rates aren't the same.....
the company that underwrites loans for thor, is used by most of the major rv makers...there rates are ok...but not stellar, and may be a better choice for folks who have trouble qualifing....
if your credit rating is high, the most options and best rate offers are available....also making a reasonable down payment will improve finance issues.
i shopped online, my credit union, thor, and my local s&l and local bank.
to my delight, my local bank was competive....agreeing to better any offer....
so i went with my local bank, completed the financing a few days after ordering the trailer....2 month later i carried a check to the rv dealer...easy.
bank also agreed to lower my agreed rate if prime went down...it did not, and i don't think it will in the short term now either....
cheers
