Lease Take Over?

The non-profit I started a couple years ago is starting to take off, we just received two grants and potentially a three-year general operating grant (we'll find out in March) to implement a map/app conservation project working with indigenous people of the U.S. and Canada.

This work keeps my team almost constantly on the road and we are in need of an airstream. Just any RV will not do! I'm looking for someone who would like to get rid of their Airstream (I can't imagine, but some circumstances may require). I found a lease take over RV site but the only Airstream travel trailer is sold.

The project starts in February! Contact me here or by email at soutacl@indigenousvision.org

There are many airstreams for sale in the classifieds. That will be your best bet.

RVs are often rented (weekend or couple of weeks) but sounds like you are looking for a more long term rent/lease and curious how it makes sense to lease and not buy and then sell when you're done. Are you maybe thinking take over somebody's payments? That would be a buy and bank would need to approve. Or maybe you mean rent to own from an owner that owns their unit. Not likely but maybe.

Thank you! I do mean to rent to own from an owner or take over their payments. It's a long-term project 1-5 years. I will be on the road this year with a fellowship and grant I received to implement the project but will transition to hiring someone to implement the data collection after this year. This year I budgeted a fair amount of money for office rent, equipment and with the project goals as they are I think a mobile office would make more sense. I also see it as starting to build my organizations assets. I know chances are slim, but even slimmer if I don't get a request out there! Thanks for replying!

(It's going to be a super exciting self-guided interactive tourism app that focuses on environmental conservation, and the indigenous perspective and history of the landscape, I hope your able to enjoy it on your travels soon!)
