Polishing is in style now and a shiny trailer does look great. But it is a lot of time, work and/or money to maintain that shine. A properly painted trailer is much easier to maintain and with a quality wax, can also shine nicely. So unless you must have a polished aluminum trailer, a painted trailer is just fine.

I was at Jackson Center several years ago and they had a Argosy in the service bay that had been painted silver. It looked great and I could not tell the difference until they told me it had been painted, I assumed it was a standard Airstream with aluminum panels.
