Speaking of vandalism, do you have insurance? If it was at your home is it possible your homeowners insurance will cover it? I don't know just throwing out a suggestion.

I didnt have insurance at the time. Also every policy i looked into at the time had no accommodation for vintage airstreams, they are insured like any 1979 trailer so it would be pointless to pay a premium on a triler worth so much more than other trailers of that year.

Here, if you are not travelling in your trailer, it can be added to your home insurance policy by adding a rider for it and paying a relatively small annual fee.

I say "here", because it's entirely possible that such things are different in your part of this world, and in any event, it's too late for you. I mention it because other owners who keep their trailer at home, or in a recognized park may be able to use this idea.
