What exactly is it? model and year?

Ive been driving by this for the past year...and stopped today to see if the owner wanted to sell it...No one home...I hope i dont find out that it belongs to someoneon here! :-) It appears that the model/id tag is missing...the interior was very rough, as is the ouside...Any insight as to what this is exactly? Im guessing a 63ish Bambi or maybe a Caravel?

Id LOVE to give this a new home!

I would guess based on the windows and size that it could be a 1962 Globetrotter.

See that tag to the left of the door? Has it got a serial number on it?

If you get a chance to snap a photo of the serial number (or write it down), someone here will be able to tell you what it is, I'm sure.

From what I gather 16TSS indicates a California built Bambi starting with 1961. If it were 18TSS, it would indicate a Globetrotter.

It's definitely a pre-1963 Bambi. The battery box under the window disappeared for the 63 model year.

Looks too big to be a bambi to me. I think it's a GT.

Don't know either, but you need to buy it and fix it up. I'll add another one to the thread- all I know is it's an Avion.

For the Avion, it would be an 18' Sportsman Model, 1963-1966 year range. (Hey, IS the Avion for Sale?)
