value of 2002 Safari 25' Six Sleeper

I'm sure that this is an age old type of question that many have faced before me -

we've been looking at a 2002 Safari 25' Six Sleeper that is for sale. we're expecting to use it mostly for two of us traveling together, though occasionally with other family, or friends, too.

this unit was built in June 2002, and bought and used that summer / fall, and traded back to the dealer for a larger unit.

the current owner purchased it from the dealer in in 2003, but didn't move it from the dealer's lot or use it at all until April 2005 when it was placed on a wooded lot in NY state. the owner lived in the trailer through the Fall of 2005, and it hasn't been used since. the trailer has sat under a breathable cover, tied snugly, and there's no evidence of any abrasion on the body of the trailer. the owner also covered the bed, couch and dinette with plastic to help keep things clean, and has had the trailer cleaned once or twice a year since. their last visit was in the Fall of 2008. the exterior is in excellent condition, and based on that condition and the (lack of) wear on the tires, this trailer doesn't seem like it's spent much time over the road at all.

unfortunately, though, the local mice and or chipmunks seem to have inhabited the trailer this past winter very comfortably.... besides the "droppings" and urine marks all over, there's one wire that's had a little insulation chewed off in the road side arm of the couch, where it enters the conduit heading to the back of the trailer. anything else we could see inside cabinets or under things appear to be OK. that said, we're also very sure that there are nests in the hollow ends of the ceiling bunkers, both fore and aft, so they'll have to come down or apart to be cleaned, and probably replace the speakers that are mounted there. thankfully, there's no evidence of the critters eating or nesting in the mattress or seat cushions.

it's going to take some effort, but we're pretty certain that we can satisfactorily clean and disinfect the inside of the trailer with a combination of soap, water, bleach, enzymes, and an ozone generator.

also, there might be another issue with a chewed electrical wire somewhere as the three rearmost ceiling lamps over the bed, shower and vanity don't work. and, at this point, we're taking it on faith that the plumbing is undamaged and works, since we didn't have a compartment door key to look inside or underneath the bathroom etc at the plumbing there.

so, we get to the really hard part - what is this trailer worth?

I've searched all over the web, and the only 3 data points I can find are these -

I'm unable to find any other sales, privately, or by a dealer even currently offering a similar model. if anyone has some experience, here, or otherwise sage advice, we'd appreciate your comments, suggestions, or questions?

best,

Joseph
