Value Estimation - 1975 '31 Land Yacht Center Bathroom

I don't know if this trailer will be available shortly, so this may be academic. If you could share your wisdom and thoughts on this particular trailer, it would be appreciated.

This ad lists it in Maryland, but it was also up on the popular KSL Classifieds here in Utah. There was a local number listed for it, so hopefully it is here in the state. Just my luck the trailer may have been sold already, but I'm still calling in the morning to see about a time to go and check it out.

It's tough to evaluate a seller's price without looking at the actual trailer.

Take a look at the inspection list in here: http://www.airforums.com/forums/f138...ist-43294.html

That will give you a good idea of what questions to ask the seller for more detail and what to look for when inspecting.

A specific thing to ask about with the older, longer trailers is what the status of the rear end is. Has there been any history of sag or separation? Any repairs?

Caveat Emptor!...

Do your due diligence, inspect the trailer in person, don't hand over the money until you have the title. If at all possible take someone with you that has experience in inspecting Airstreams.

IMHO the price seems a bit on the low side, and I question why it would be listed in two states separated by such a distance.
