Valuation help needed

Hello! I just joined this forum a moment ago with hopes of becoming a new camper user.

I found a 1984 Avion triple axle for sale. According to the owner, it has a new on demand RV500 water heater, a new sureflow pump with air chamber, large shower/tub combo, new thetford toilet and corian counterw with updated faucets. All the flooring, pain and upholstery has been updated. Solid wood cabinetry. Updated LED lighting throughout the interior and exterior. New wave6 catalytic heater.

Heating and cooling systems, water, lighting "works great". Weight distributing equalizer hitch. Tires are only a few thousand miles and the hubs have been serviced. Newer brakes.

I'm trying to get an idea of the value. They're asking $9,500.

Payton, welcome to the Airforums.

I think you'll find value here, it everything the seller says is true. As with any travel trailer, condition counts more than age.

I'm not sure what type of axles were used in these, but if they are torsion style axles and they haven't been replaced then that is a major expense. Also, check for water damaged or rotten subfloor and frame integrity (rust).

If in excellent conditon this could be a great deal on your dream trailer.
