Silver Streak Clipper

I have here in the UK a 1947 Curtis Wright Silver Streak 22' Clipper, serial number 2514. It is in good condition considering that the only restoration work undertaken so far has been replacement of the belly alumin(i)um and of the floor. It is currently a shell, although that shell includes all the original alumin(i)um fitted dividers and cupboards. It still has a 2" tow hook. The outside has not yet been polished.

I would appreciate any advice on an attainable sale price for the trailer. It's time to move it on, and I need the funds for other projects, so this one has to go. I am looking to attain a reasonable, but not greedy, price.

The trailer is in Shropshire, UK, and I have the original Indiana Certificate of Title. The trailer was shipped to the UK in 2009.

What attainable value is suggested please?

If anyone here is interested, I would be very happy to correspond, and send photos, via my email account: youngmangonewest@hotmail.com.

Very many thanks.

Regards,
Richard

That’s my dream project. How much does it cost to ship back to the US? Which port do they typically ship to? Thanks

Clipper

Thanks for your message Bubba. I imagine that there are a number of routes that the trailer could take. Coming here, it went from Baltimore to Hull. I'm not well versed in shipping costs, I'm afraid, so probably best to consult a shipping agent?

When I get a moment I will email you some photographs, as requested in your separate email.

All best wishes.

Regards,
Richard
